Hello my lovelies, Hope you're having a relaxing Saturday. This morning I was up at dawn styling a Holiday Breakfast in Santa Monica. (Hopefully I'll have photos to share soon.) This is my first photo ever with Santa. Sad. I feel a little robbed of my childhood. Tomorrow I'm heading to the beach for a photo shoot with TomTom Jewelry, other than that it's a pretty quiet weekend. I have a very exciting week ahead of me, which I can't wait to share. Have a fun weekend, my loves.

Vault Dining

I remember being 5 years old, staring in awe at walls full of locks and little metal doors, wondering what was behind them. I was waiting for my mom to retrieve our own box of treasures: passports, two dollar bills, coins, a few jewels, and some old photographs. It was always so exciting to rummage through our locked up trinkets, but it was just as exciting to stand in the vault {ever so slightly terrified that the door might close and lock us in.}

You can spend an evening partying and dining in a vault in NY or LA.

Monday Night Dinner

Sheesh... I feel spoiled, last night I was invited to a friends to have a home cooked Indian meal. The food was insanely delicious and the company couldn't have been better. Apple Picking

Early fall is a marvelous time to watch the leaves change colors and go apple picking in Yucaipa with friends. Just in the last few weeks there's been a change in the air, I absolutely LOVE being outside soaking up the cool crisp air of autumn. Whew! What a whirlwind of a week, I'm so glad it's Sunday!

Friday at dusk a few friends and I started our descent into the Big Santa Anita Canyon, Angeles National Forest. Hiking at night (probably not the smartest) we were rewarded with the most breathtaking views of the canyon blanketed in fog, illuminated by the moonlight. After 4.5 miles hiking in the dark we reached our campsite. I was the only one not haunted by the thought of bears, and slept soundly. Between the five of us for protection we had 2 tasers, mace and a machete. Ridiculous, I know. I’m shocked we didn’t hurt ourselves. The next morning, we packed up camp and explored the near by Sturtevant’s Camp built in the late 1800’s, where we found the most charming cabins, a tree swing and thousands of ladybugs huddle together to keep warm. MY WISHING TREE

Ever since I moved to Los Angeles, nine years ago... I've had my eye on one particular tree that sits up on the top of The Hollywood Hills (just west of the Hollywood Sign), it can be seen from Burbank, Hollywood and Los Feliz. I've called it "my wishing tree" since the moment I spotted it... and I've always imagined it looks just like this one.

HELLO AUTUMN

One of my favorite memories of growing up the Kansas is the Louisburg Cider Mill. I can taste the Hot Apple Cider and Fresh Cider Donuts now!!

I could play the I love fall game forever... I love the changing colors of the leaves, I love caramel apples, I love the way autumn smells, I love fresh hot apple cider...

Tonight make sure and look up at the Havest Moon

Today I spent the day cooking with some of my favorite girlies. We made the most delish meal of ratatouille served over egg whites, with a side of sautéed zucchini, soft swiss cheese, jam and bread sticks. Oh, and of course champagne. I can’t think of a better way to spend the day.

Jasmine and I had so much fun driving around Los Angeles with a 3 foot pink balloon. This is me, floating away to a far-far away dreamland. Photo was shot in Angeles Crest National Forest.
