For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; Never throw out anybody.
Remember, If you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of your arm.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.
The beauty of a women is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

My favorite nutritionist Jen Katz and I had the BEST weekend in Malibu. After lunch at Gjelina's in Venice, we headed up to Malibu for the night. We woke up to clear skies and headed straight to the beach!

2) Give 3 genuine compliments.
3) Give the gift of experience, not stuff. This weekend, choose a loved one and think of an experience you can give them. A date with you, doing something fun, hanging out, cooking, playing, talking, playing games, exploring, a fun time at a park or beach. Something other than everyday shenanigans. An experience is much more meaningful than an object and it also builds connectedness which can keep you happy, healthy and young at heart.

Tree Hugging Now Scientifically Proven


Tree hugging, that much maligned hippy generation idea, has now been shown to have scientific validity after all. Contrary to popular belief, touching a tree does make you healthier. In fact you don’t even have to touch the tree to get better, just being within its vicinity has the same effect.

In a in recent publications, Blinded by Science, the author Matthew Silverstone, proves scientifically that trees improve many health issues such as; mental illnesses, ADHD, concentration levels, reaction times, depression and the ability to alleviate headaches.

The Abominable Snow Mansion is a charming Hostel in the heart of the adorable Spanish village of Arroyo Seco. It has a fun and friendly atmosphere, with several sleeping arrangements such as cabins, camping, private rooms, dorms or teepees! There is also a spectacular vegetable garden - where you can pick farm-fresh veggies for a very small fee. The staff is knowledgeable, patient and lovely. It's a hostel, so go, have fun, and meet some new people. Promise me if you do go, you'll stop by The Taos Cow Ice Cream Scoop Shop, Cafe and Dell. I think you'll like it!
