MY WISHING TREE

Ever since I moved to Los Angeles, nine years ago... I've had my eye on one particular tree that sits up on the top of The Hollywood Hills (just west of the Hollywood Sign), it can be seen from Burbank, Hollywood and Los Feliz. I've called it "my wishing tree" since the moment I spotted it... and I've always imagined it looks just like this one.

I had dinner at the little door last night with my favorite girls. We had reason to celebrate!

sitting at a round table we all held a wishbone in both hands, made a wish and broke. I was the only one left with two short ends... go figure. I like the idea that everyones wish comes true.

One of my favorite things to do is create travel kits (which basically are combination of scavenger hunts, missions and loving child like shenanigans) for loved ones on their travels.
